Mumbai Police on National Doctor’s Day: Doctor’s apron is no less than a superhero’s cape

In a post on Twitter on National Doctor’s Day, Mumbai Police paid tribute to doctors and said that their apron is no less than a superhero’s cape.

Mumbai Police paid tribute to doctors in a post on Twitter on National Doctors Day on July 1. In the caption of their post, Mumbai Police thanked doctors for working tirelessly throughout and said that their apron is no less than a superhero’s cape.

Their post features a plate showing Superman, Batman and a doctor’s coat hanging by a hook side by side.

Superman has his shield while Batman’s mask also appears in the post. As for the doctor, his stethoscope is more than enough.

“The doctor’s apron is no less than a superhero’s cape. We thank all the doctors for their selfless service to this city,” Mumbai Police said in the caption of their post.

Mumbai Police’s post has garnered over 3,000 likes within five hours of being made available online. In the comments section, people posted their messages for doctors.

“This #DoctorsDay, let’s come together and thank our doctors for their heroic efforts. Happy Doctors Day,” a comment reads.

India celebrates National Doctor’s Day on July 1 annually in the memory of acclaimed physician and educationist Bidhan Chandra Roy.

Dr Roy was the second Chief Minister of West Bengal from 1948 to 1962. He received the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian honour, in 1961.
