Kerala boy creates train model using newspaper and glue, leaves Railway Ministry impressed

A 12-year-old boy from Kerala recently created a train model using newspaper and glue.

A 12-year-old kid from Thrissur, Kerala has gone viral on Twitter for creating a train model during the lockdown using just newspapers. Yes, you read that right.

The video of the brilliant creation by Master Adwaith Krishna was shared on Twitter today by the official account of the Ministry of Railways. According to them, the 12-year-old took just three days to make the replica. The rail enthusiast made the model using 33 sheets of newspaper, 10 A4 sheets and glue.

The Railway Ministry shared two pictures and a video of the 7th standard-student with the caption, “Master Adwaith Krishna, a 12-year-old rail enthusiast from Thrissur, Kerala has unleashed his creative streak and has made a captivating train model using newspapers. His near perfection train replica took him just 3 days (sic).”

In the clip, one can see Adwaith making the train replica at his home. He can be seen creating different parts of the train and then assembling them. The time that the 12-year-old invested in making the masterpiece and the intricate details he put into it, can be seen in the footage.

According to the ministry’s account, Adwaith is a student of the CNN Boys High School, Cherpu.

After the video was shared on Twitter, it quickly went viral and managed to garner over 32.2k views. Netizens also took to the comments section to praise the child.
